Govt responsible for fatal accidents on NH, alleges Green Goa Foundation

The Green Goa foundation has alleged that the Goa Government, Forest Department and the National Highway authorities are responsible for the fatal accidents on the national highway from Margao to Canacona.

Green Goa Foundation has written an complaint to the Goa government, forest department and the national highway authorities over the huge old tree along the national highway as they posing threat. Speaking to Goa365, Chairman of Green Goa Foundation Raison Almeida said that the huge old trees are posing the danger for the commuters on the national highway from Margao to Canacona and many accidents have been reported due to these trees.

Raison also alleged that the government and the concern authorities have failed to conduct its pre-monsoon works and has called the government incapable to take care of the people.
