Aam Admi Party on Thursday hit out at the government for reducing the number of schools in the state by merging several primary schools. The party also accused the government of refusing to listen to the public due to its ego issue. Here’s all that the party charged against the government.

The AAP party attacked the government over the merging of schools in the state. They charged that the government is refusing to even listen to suggestions as ways of saving the schools due to ego and politics. AAP’s Amit Palekar said that while government schools in Delhi have been flourishing, govt schools in Goa are only being used for elections and programmes.

The Party also questioned what the future plan for education in the state was. They questioned as to what the government will do after the number of schools would reduce while there was no report or study suggesting the number of students would decline.

Speaking on the Azad ka Amrit Mohotsav, AAP president Amit Palekar charged that if the government has funds to host fancy swearing-in ceremonies worth crores then why not carry out basic maintenance of primary schools?
