Give Goans onions at subsidized rates, Onions up 200 per kilo: Demands Mahila Congress

: Onions making you cry while cutting, but Goans are crying to even buy onions now. Onion prices have reached to Rs. 200 per kilo. And to protest over the price hike, the Mahila Congress marched to the Horticulture demanding reduce the price. The Mahila Congress has given 3 days ultimatum to the government to reduce the price or give Goans onions at a subsidized price, failing to which they are ready to hold a massive protest.



Onion prices have gone upto Rs.200 per kilo in the capital city, while in other places the onions are not less that 180 to 150 per kilo.

On Friday, the Mahila Congress ladies marched to the Horticulture department shouting slogans against the price hike and also demanding to reduce the prices or to give subsidized cost onions in the state. Watch the high voltage drama.
