Fishermen allege that department not equipped to crack down on illegal boats

Bull trawling and LED lights have been a bane of Goans fishing industry. Another issue has been trawlers from pout of state coming and using these methods to fish. However, the South Goa fishing department has no boats to check this out. And they are not willing to talk to media to explain how the department can be so negligent on cracking down on this practices even as Goans have to pay through their nose for fish.
