Locals in Cuncolim’s Balli are expressing dismay over unfulfilled promises of employment at the newly built National Institute of Science. Despite assurances made during its construction, locals have yet to receive the promised jobs. Compounding to their frustrations are the persistent problems of water and electricity shortages.
