Cong urges Guv to convene Assembly session, release CM’s health bulletin

The opposition Congress party has urged Governor of Goa to immediately convene Assembly session, which was adjourned due to ill health of Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar.



They also want the Governor to quash all the major decisions taken by the government in the absence of Parrikar. And a regular bulletin about CM’s health condition. 

A delegation of 10 members headed by GPCC President Shantaram Naik met Governor Mridula Sinha on Monday morning, alleging that a headless government is functioning due to which Goa has become a laughing stock.

The delegation comprised of MLA Nilkanth Halarnkar, former chief minister Digambar Kamat, opposition leader Babu Kavalekar, Mahila Congress Goa chief Pratima Coutinho, MLA Alex Reginald Lourenco and others.
