Cabral threatens to demolish houses discharging sewage in Tar river

Environment Minister Nilesh Cabral has warned of demolishing houses on the banks of Tar river of Mapusa if people don’t stop discharging their sewage in the river.
Several BJP MLAs of Bardez came in support of Goa Forward MLA Jayesh Salgaonkar, who raised this vital issue.
Saligao MLA Jayesh Salgaonkar moved a calling attention motion on untreated sewage being discharged in Tar River of Mapusa.
The river used for immersion of Ganesh idol is heavily polluted. Rohand Khaunte, Glenn Ticlo, Joshua D’Souza and Pratapsing Rane also supported him.
