Aqua Goa, Mega Fish festival a big scam: Cong

Congress on Wednesday alleged that the Aqua Goa, Mega Fish festival beginning in Panaji from Thursday was a big scam. It has submitted a complaint to the Chief Secretary over the alleged irregularities.

The Congress alleged that there is a huge scam involved in the upcoming Mega Fish festival. The festival will be held at Campal ground from Thursday to Sunday. GPCC Chief Girish Chodankar said that the tender process of the festival had been finalised in a biased manner and the cost of the festival had been hiked as in previous year it had cost 48 lakhs. This year it is nearly 2 cr.
