All in a days work! Contractors widen road but forget to clear trees and electric poles

Road widening work has begun in Chinchinim to convert the Chinchinim to Orlim road into a 6-lane highway. Butroadside trees and electric poles that were laid along the old road have been left untouched and now stand right in the middle of the widened highway. Frustrated locals, worried for their safety, are questioning the PWD’s planning. This is not the first incident of contractors widening roads without shifting light poles, and residents are worried that this could be another such incident.
