Will need one 1/1/2 month to analyse report on KA: Gaude

The report on the integrity of the Kala Academy building has been received from the GEC and GEM. However, it will take at least one and a half month to analyze it, the Art and Culture Minister Govind Gaude said on Friday. He, however, promised that any decision on the future of the institution would only be taken after taking the people into consideration.

The state was shocked by the news that the Kala Academy at Pananji was supposed to be demolished leading to a major backlash and forcing thrhe government to come up with multiple explanations and clarification. A report was also sought on the integrity and strenght of the iconic building.
