Ponda KTC bus stand in bad condition

The KTC bus stand in Ponda is in a sorry state. Motorcycle pilots and shopkeepers say they are not getting customers as there are potholes all over the bus stand for the last several years. Also, there are no facilities. The Bandora Sarpanch has attacked the Chief Minister saying that he should declare this bus stand as a crematorium as the bus stand looks like one.

The Ponda bus stand falls in the jursidiction of the Bandora Panchayat. Bandora sarpanch, Rajesh Naik has out over the condition of the bus stand. He said that authorities have shut the access to the Bus stand. The entire area is fill with potholed and it does not have any facilities.

There is an RTO office nearby and no way to reach the office. There are no gutters, or provision of water. While there is a water tank, it is in a dilapidated condition. The toilets in the area are also worse for wear. Anyone visiting the RTO office, faces major inconvenience.
