These
amounts were for transport and accommodation.
The
Government also spent 16.6 lakh rupees on foreign dignitaries who visited Goa.
The
government spent 3.78 lakh rupees on bureaucrats visits to Goa. Rama
Shirvastava former DGP and advisor to Kerala government alone spent 1.98 lakhs
rupees government money during his trip to Goa with 8 family members.
The
government spent 28,000 rupees on former Chief Justice of India T.S. Thakur
during his six days visit.
The
government also spent 32.60 lakh rupees on the three day 24th Western Zonal Council Meeting held
on August 2019.
While,
8.35 lakhs rupees were spent on the one day 11th Western
Zonal Council meeting.
The
State government spent 4.12 lakhs rupees on 3 politicians. 1.57 lakh rupees on
a 6 day visit of Lal Krishna Advani, 12,781 rupees on a 1 day stay of Home
Minister Amit Shah and 10,575 rupees on 4 days visit of former chief minister
Shivraj Singh Chouhan.
Minister
of Protocol, Karnataka Bernarnd Raj visited four times in Goa. Once as adviser
to Kerala's Chief Minister.
His
stay came at cost of 2.32 lakhs for the government.
Fake
UP Minister Sunil Kumar Singh duped the government at tune of 27,361 rupees.
He
was first accommodated at circuit house. Then he extended his stay and
government decided to shift him to Taj Vivanta.
However,
the Taj Vivanta was full and he was finally accommodated at Hotel Fidalgo.
Nobel
Laureates has set an good example for our politicians and bureaucrats.
They
came from across country and didn't let government pay for their and family's
expenses.
Nobel
Laureates Carl Herikc Heldin, Christiane Nasslein Valhard and Thomas Lindahl,
Serge Haroche, Richard Roberts and their spouses who came to Goa for Mega
Scientific Event Nobel Prize Series spent their own money on transport and
accommodation.
