Locals upset over slow progress in road repair

The road connecting Cancona, Quepem and Sanguem at Ambeghat in Cancona was washed away due to heavy rains last year.

Now, its almost a year but the road has still not been repaired, angering locals.

Former Gaodongrim sarpanch, Ashok told Goa 365 that this road was widened by dumping mud.

He demanded that the road be repaired before monsoon or else entire road will be washed off and traffic through Ambeghat will come to a standstill.
