CM convenes monsoon preparedness meet

The Health department is also working to control vector borne diseases in monsoon, the Chief Minister Pramod Sawant said on Tuesday.

Chief Minister held monsoon preparedness meetings with officials of concerned departments. Goa had seen massive floods across the state in last year. Measures would be taken to avoid such situation this year.

Tilari dam officials have been told to give locals tip-offs while releasing the dam water in Chapora river, the CM said.
