33 portfolios are distributed

Much awaited portfolios were distributed on Sunday. Chief Minister Pramod Sawant has retained his almost all portfolios. Other ministers too have retained their key portfolios. Some portfolios are yet to be distributed.

 9 BJP MLAs were sworn in as Minister soon after swearing in of Pramod Sawant as Chief Minister. However, the portfolio distribution was yet to happen. According to reports, portfolio distribution was supposedly happen on Saturday. However, it was postponed due to some confusion between the cabinet colleagues over portfolio distribution.

33 portfolios are distributed till now other key portfolios such education, ports and power are yet to be distributed. Reports indicated that these other portfolios would be distributed after the alliance partners of BJP are sworn in as ministers. Until then it would be look after by the Chief Minister. Ravi Naik, Subhash Shirdokar and Atanasio Babush Monserrate are new faces.
