STATE OBC LIST ADDITIONS

The state government has notified the inclusion of certain communities from the state list of OBCs as backward classes for reservation of seats for representation in village panchayats for the 2022 general panchayat elections.

According to the gazette notification the government had taken into consideration the report and the recommendations of the Goa state Commission for Backward Classes.
