PRIORTITY JOBS IN MERCHANT NAVY FOR AGNIVEERS

The issue of Agnipath scheme has become hot topic popular in India right now and many people are even condemning it. But those who have trained under the Agnipath scheme will be given first priority for merchant navy jobs, Union Minister Sripad Naik said.

Goan Seamen association of India celebrated Seamen’s Day at Ravindra Bhavan in Margao On Saturday. Union Minister Shripad Naik was speaking on the occasion as the Chief Guest.

BJP leader Narendra Sawaikar, Fartoda MLA Vijay Sardessai and other dignitaries were present. Seafarers also have a great contribution to the development of the society.

When they come back from sea voyage we should give them a warm welcome. Also they should be given due respect, Fatorda MLA Vijay Sardessai said.
