Floriano Vaz Death anniversary observed

However, the government has not helped even one of his family members by giving them a job.

People are upset as Florence Vaz had sacrificed his life during official language agitation.   

Florence Vaz who was part of official language movement was shot dead by CRP police on 20th December 1986.

His statue has been erected at Gogol tinto.

A floral tribute was paid by ST association president Camilo Baretto and family members.

Baretto alleged that politicians just used Florence Vaz and ignored his family.
