The coronation day of maratha king Shivaji was celebrated with enthusiasm on Sunday . A feature film was launched at the hands of Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant on the occasion. The feature film is based on Shivaji's fight against the Portuguese. Shivaji was coronated on 6 June 1674 at Raigad.

  Floral tributes were paid to Shivaji across Goa. In Sankhali- Chief Minister Pramod Sawant paid tributes, and in Bicholim speaker Rajesh Patnekar. Programmes were held at Korgao, Valpoi, Mapusa, Farmagudi, Gogol-Margao, Curchorem following covid protocols.
