Church & temple robbed of cash in Cortalim & Sancoale

A well planned robbery was executed on Wednesday night simultaneously in a Church and Temple. St. Philip and James Church in Cortalim and Ganesh Temple in Sancoale. People demanded police patrolling in the areas also check migrants who enter Goa.

On one side, the robbers entered in St Philip and James church at Cortalim on Wednesday midnight with weapons. They broke the gate and latches of church office door. Decamp cash worth 50000.

On the other hand, robbers robbed fund box and took away cash of 5000 from Ganesh Temple of sancoale after breaking the grill of the window. The fund box was found in bushes 100 metres from Temple. A similar kind of robbery which had taken place at Kitla couple of days ago.
