Murder convict surrenders

Prisoner from Moderm Central Jail Colvale, Jayesh Naik has surrendered after the completion of his parole term. Naik was convicted of murder seven years ago, and was released on Parole wide order on the 28th of July.

Naik has submitted a letter to officials stating that he wished to surrender himself after completion of his parole period.

He says that he was in a disturbed state of mind due to family issues and met with an accident while trying to make his way back. Due to his disoriented state he was unable to return on the specified date and ended up losing his belongings.
