IRB constable found dead in school compound, police suspect murder

The victim hails from Morjim. Police suspect murder. But waiting for the postmortem report to confirm it.

The constable is identified as Kishor Shirodkar from Morjim.Kishor’s body was found in the compound of National Institute of Open Schooling at Porvorim, along the highway.

His scooter was also found at the spot. And some beer bottles were lying next to his dead body.

His face is injured and there is a plastic bag pushed inside his mouth.

That’s the reason police suspect it to be murder. Kishor's relatives and friends were shocked with this news.

The roadside incident also led to traffic congestion on Thursday morning as people crowded up inside the compound as well as outside on the road.

As Kishor is from Morjim, Mandrem MLA Dayanand Sopte also stopped on his way to the Assembly.
