Entire Vasco to be sealed if situation goes out of control: local MLA

ntire Vasco would be sealed if situation goes out of control by evening, local MLA Carlos Almeida said on Tuesday. He said he has already spoken to Chief Miniser and Health Minister in this regard. Mormugao Municipal Council Chairperson has also suggested sealing of port town.

Panic struck Vasco after some people were tested positive for corona virus in Mangoor Hill. Authorities swung into action and declared Mangoor Hill as containment zone, sealing the entire area. Authorities are tracing the contacts who might have came in contacts with this patients.

Even a doctor who came in their contact found positive. Vasco MLA Carlos Almeida and MMC chairperson Nandeep Raut has appealed people not to panic and administration is working in full swing. Our reporter Hiru Mahale was on the ground since Monday night monitoring the situation.
