Fugdi dance is a Goan folk dance performed by women in the Konkan region. The dance is performed during the month of Badripadda.

There is no accompaniment of any percussion instrument during the performance. The name fugdi is derived from the sound created by dancers by blowing air through their mouth that sounds like ‘Foo’. Hence the name Fugdi.
