Gokulastham celebrated under the covid cloud

Devotees of Lord Krishna celebrated Gokulastham in a traditional way. A special ceremony is held at Narvem Tirth. The devotees in large number were present during the ceremony under the cloud of the coronavirus. Chief Minister Pramod Sawant along with his wife also performed religious rituals at Narvem Tirth.



 Narvem village in Mayem constituency is famous as Tirthashetra. Gokulashtami is the annual ceremony held here. Devotees were present in large number under the covid cloud and conducted religious rituals. Many come at thirth to perform various rituals. Chief Minister and his wife too become the part of it today. Chief Minister gave details.   


The quiet and seculded place turns festive during Ashtam. People crowd at the Tirth. As a part of ritual palnquin procession of gods from Bicholim, Pilgao and neighbouring villages come here. Some devotees requested Chief Minister to repair the pathway of palanquin. He said he would consider this request if locals give permission. Listen to what Chief Minister has to say.
