The newly released Bollywood film ''Malang'' has potrayed Goa as a destination that is only about drugs, parties, and murders.

Now the chief minister Pramod Sawant says that the ESG will have to check the general scripts to ensure that nothing detrimental or false about the state goes into the film. Ironically before the start of film the producers have thanked the Chief Minister Pramod Sawant. Here are the details.

The film is set in Goa and features Advait Thakur (Aditya) and Sara (Disha). They meet at a rave party and instantly fall in love. Advait is a shy guy from Mumbai while Sara is a footloose woman who has recently landed in India

. However, one encounter with the cops changes their fate and the story turns into a revenge drama. The issue here that has raised hackles is the stereotyping of Goa as merely a destination thats about drugs, parties, and murders.
