Woman injured while crossing railway track

62 year old Vasco woman was grievously injured while attempting to cross the tracks at Cansaulim on Tuesday. Locals gathered at the site and demanded that the Government take up railway overbridge work. However, the Cansaulim Sarpanch appealed to the people not to cross the railways tracks. He said that the under bridge and over road has been already proposed.

62 year old Rohini Bhosle from Vasco was grievously injured while trying to cross a railway track at Cansaulim.

Railway police Inspector Sachin Panhalkar said that the lady rohini Bhosle from Vasco would go to Cansaulim to get eggs and coconuts and sell it in Vasco.

However on Tuesday, while she was attempting to cross the railway track her leg got stuck.
