Tragedy averted: Giant Mango tree falls at Tonca, Panaji

It took almost two hours for the fire officials to chop the tree and clear the road for the commuters.  

A tragedy that was averted!

It has been a long demand of people of Goa that old trees that pose danger to the public should be identified and necessary action be taken. 

Roads were blocked and traffic stopped due to this incident. Also, the compound wall collapsed and chapel nearby has suffered damages.
