PWD’s ignorance leading to accidents daily at Ponda’s Kapileshwari junction

Accidents have become a daily affair at the Kapileshwari junction in Ponda. Incomplete sewerage work left by the PWD has led to an accident involving 2 bikes leaving both riders seriously injured.

Deepraj Desai and Ranjit Kavlekar were the two riders left grievously injured in the accident. Local resident Kisan Naik has blamed the PWD for leaving the sewerage work half done.

He says people drive in the wrong lane to avoid the dug-up stretch, leading to accidents. Locals have demanded that the government tar the roads as soon as possible and prevent accidents
