The BJP is once again on the receiving end of political backlash after several serious crimes have occurred in the state over the past week. With Sonali Phogat’s case, the recent shoot out and illegal sand mining at Churchorem and now the death of Mohammed Aga, the gloves are off as the congress and AAP have hit out at government.

The AAP today, attacked the government over the alarming rise of crime in the state. With Sonali Phogat’s case yet to be solved, followed by a shootout, a form of crime seldom heard in the state,

to the recent case of a boy who allegedly died after falling into the Mandovi while parents charge kidnapping and murder, the AAP questioned as to where the safety and security of Goans is heading

Congress too hit out at the government over failing law and order in the state. They attacked the government over the shootout at Churchorem wherein one laborer was killed. They charged that despite a high court ban on sand mining, the same was being carried out in the constituency of the Law Minister.
