Margao women enters hospicio with broken hand, leaves as cadaver

She was admitted to Hospicio, Margao where doctors said that she had to be operated so as to align the bones.

Imagine the shock of her husband when a couple of hours later the doctors tell him that his wife had held a heart attack on the table.

They insist that she be shifted to the Goa Medical college Bambolim immediately. Here’s more.

After spending a couple of days at GMC, the shocked family is told that she had expired and they should take possession of the body as fast as possible. Controversies seem to be dodging the health department headed by Vishwajit Rane.

First it was formalin in fish, then it was the disappearing cadaver from the GMC morgue. And on Monday even before the first two controversies died down, it was the shocking death of as mo9ther of 4 from Margao. 

The opposition, meanwhile has said that it would file a police complaint on the issue and back the family till the end.
