Husband & wife die in accident at Gulem – Canacona

While the husband succumbed to his injuries on the way to the hospital, the wife was killed on the spot. Police have arrested the bus driver. This is the third accident to have been reported in the past 2 days.

Another accident involving a truck was reported yesterday along the same stretch. The driver of truck reportedly fled the scene, escaping to Karnataka. The driver however, was killed in another accident across the border.
