Following the tragic incident, wherein a massive fire engulfed paint and chemical godowns in outer Delhi's Alipur, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal announced a slew of government aid for those affected. The fire which broke out yesterday evening claimed the lives of 11 people and left four injured. Here's the latest on this devastating incident.



A fierce fire erupted in two paint and chemical godowns in Alipur, leading to an unfortunate loss of 11 lives and leaving four individuals injured, as reported by the fire department.

The deceased had been moved to Babu Jagjeevan Ram Hospital, while the injured received medical attention at Raja Harish Chandra Hospital. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal visited the site of the incident and assured government assistance and support to those affected by the fire.

The intensity of the fire caused nearby houses and shops to catch fire due to the blast. Tragically, some of the injured individuals were residents of these affected places. In response to the emergency, a total of 22 fire-tenders were swiftly deployed to the scene, with firefighters working tirelessly to bring the situation under control.
