Sudin blamed the government for the non implementation of the Act as the reason for Sunday's Verna accident in which three youngsters lost their lives.

In the accident the three youngsters lost their lives after the car in which they were travelling went off the road and plunged into a 16-feet gorge. The car was a total wreck.

The sub-committee on road safety of South Goa District Consumer Protection Council has decided to ask the South Goa SP Traffic, the South Goa Collector and chairman of GIDC to act against bike and car racing that takes place in open places in South Goa.
