After Thursday accident concerned people, police and administration held a meeting to find first short term and then long term to this problem.

A joint inspection has been kept for Friday morning after the meeting the deputy collector H P Vivek told Goa 365. On the long term issues, lots of letters have been written by line staff to the PWD over such line staff including the junction at Chimbel. But no action has been taken by the PWD citing technical difficulties.

In a major accident, a tanker hit and damaged around 7 vehicles  at the Chimbel junction on Thursday. The Maharashtra registered tanker  lost control allegedly after the vehicle's brakes failed. Eight more persons have been injured.

Witnesses say that the injured had to be cut out of the damaged vehicles, as the impact was so bad. Police are investigating the cause of the accident.

दिर्घकालीन उपाय येवजणांखातीर संबंदीत खात्याक कितलीशींच पत्रां बरयलीं. पुण तांत्रिक कारणां फुडें करून भौशीक बांदकाम आनी हेर खात्यान ताचेर आडनदर केल्या.

पोरण्या गोंयच्यान हो टँकर येतालो. ब्रेक फेल जाल्ल्यान गाडयेवेलो ताबो सुटलो आनी ताका लागून हो अपघात घडिल्ल्याचें ड्रायव्हरान सांगलें.

ह्या अपघातांत आठ जाणांक मार लागलो. अपघातांत सांपडिल्ल्यो गाडयो चेंपून गेल्ल्यो.
