Formalin issue: Foreign agency initiative comes under attack

Social activist Tara Kerkar says that the decision to appoint an international agency was a conspiracy to protect fish mafia.The Congress also attacked the FDA registration process pokimg holes int their submitted turnovers.

She has demanded to stop export of Goan fish and increase subsidy being given if needed. 

On Monday the government had decided to appoint international agency to check fish till the FDA was in a position to handle checking of fish for formalin.

Tara says this is a scam and wants the head of the TCP minister.

The Congress also attacked the FDA registration process pokimg holes in their accounts.

The government is already giving  more than 100 crore rupees as subsidy to trawlers and fisherman even as so much goan fish is exported.
