Don't want road which would damage our fields and destroy our house: Balli locals

Government is saying step in fields. But how government can take highway through cultivate fields? How can it demolish houses for the road?, farmers from Balli have asked the government.
The road from Balli to Paroda is being diverted and it would result in loss of houses, damaging fields and also invite accident, alleged locals.
The proposed road from Balli to Paroda was demarcated earlier. But,
the plan was changed and was decided to divert the road through
another route.
Later, people requested the authorities not to divert this road highlighting the dangers they would face if road is diverted.
Authorities initially assured them not to divert the road. But, later changed the decision after a pump came in a way. Locals said the road will cause problem for everyone if diverted.
