Ballikars get playground after 45 years wait

The area of the ground was meant for helipad where then prime minister's Morarji Rao Dessai's helicopter landed on this site.

Later, politicians gave repeated assurances to built a playground at this site. Now, the wait of 45 year is over and Balli locals had got their playground.

Physical health is considered the basic need for a human. For that, sports is of utmost importance.

But government was not able to provide this faciltiy.

At last, social worker Santosh Phaldessai took cognizance and built the ground for Ballikars spending money from his own pocket.
