With employment opportunities dwindling, the Chief Minister announced that several industries were granted permission to expand operations in the state, during today’s GIDC meeting.
The total expansion which is likely to cost around Rs 518 crore is expected to add roughly 3,500 jobs. Sawant says the move would greatly benefit the Goan youth, who are facing the brunt of a severe shortage in jobs.
