Vasco's traditional feast Saptha on 6th of August

The feast attracts a large number of devotees mainly because of its fair. The feast begins at 12 noon on the 6^th of this month.

The Saptha begins after a senior member of the Joshi family lays a srifal at the lotus feet of deity Damodar at Shree Damodar temple. The traditional chain bhajans will be held for 24 hours. On the 7^th of August, it is time for traditional Gopal Kala . The fair continues for 7 days.
