The ‘biggest’ Christmas star in state gives message of Litter free Goa

Nokhetram or stars are also the symbols of expressing joy through creativity in this festive season in the state just like the cribs. One such star is created by renowned artist Dr. Subodh Kerkar at Museum of Goa.



 Besides being the biggest star, unique feature about this star is that it’s entirely made up using plastic bottles.

  This star is made up of 10000 plastic bottles and stands at a height of 6 meters and is kept at the museum in Pilerne. CM Parrikar has given a call for making Goa litter free by 30th May.

This star created out of plastic bottles sheds a light on the importance of being careful towards littering our environment. This star will be on display till 7th of January.
