Feast of Saints Peter, Paul observed

The fishermen from Vasco celebrated feast of the apostle St Peter by distributing fruits, flowers and happiness. The fisher folks from Khariwado Vasco come together and celebrate this feast to pray happy and satisfactory life.

 

The feast was celebrated with pomp and fervour at Khariwado. All fisher folks had took part into it. The boats were decorated with balloons and flowers at Khariwado, Non Mon and Pixem Dongri. Procession was carried out by singing traditional songs.

Mass was held at Old Cross Chapel by Father Jeromino.  The Feast of Saints Peter and Paul or is a liturgical feast in honour of the martyrdom in Rome of the apostles Saint Peter and Saint Paul, which is observed on 29 June.

 This is the feast of gratitude. The person who believes in Jesus boat never goes empty, Father Jeremino said explaining the story of Jesus and Peter.
