Three trains left for Valankanni on Monday, two from Vasco and one from Margao, with thousands of pilgrims from Goa.

The Valankanni feast is on 8th of September.

Besides one regular train that goes to Valankanni, the Indian Railways has arranged two special trains for the Goa pilgrims from Vasco and Margao.

The novenas would begin from 29th of August.

All the three trains have left with full capacity.

Former MLA and NCP leader Jose Philip D’Souza feels that some arrangements of accommodation for Pilgrims needs to be made at discounted prices.
