Goa Forward criticized the government for being indecisive on taking a u-turn on the Covid-19 SOPs for the upcoming festival of Ganesh. He also charged that not restarting mining in the state was due to the lethargic behavior of the government.

Goa Forward supremo Vijay Sardesai also said that his party was ready for an alliance with the congress and that the ball was in their court now.

Vijay said that he is ready for an alliance and that he is hopeful that the Congress will announce whether or not they will form an alliance with Goa Forward soon after the Ganesh festival. He said that if the mainstream opposition is ready for a united Goa to defeat the BJP or not will be seen after Ganesh. Listen

Vijay charged that while tourism is in full swing in the state , the government had prohibited Pandits from going to peoples houses to perform pooja. He charged that the government was indecisive since the government revoked all the SOPs announced for Ganesh on the same day that they were announced. He said that only Goans can save themselves and that the government does not care for its citizens.

He also hit out at the government saying that Mining should have been restarted years ago but no pro active move was taken by the government and that the supreme court even question the government regarding the mining issue.
