Only one nomination each for BJP state president, national council members: Parvatkar

The BJP state unit has a new head for the next three years at least. Sadanand Shet Tanavade. His was the only form that was filed during the period kept to file nominations at the BJP office.

All MLAs and other office bearers were present during the nomination process.

On Sunday, the forms will be presented before the state council and the announcement of the new president will be made by the national vice president Avinash Rai Khanna.

Tanavade will replace Vinay Tendulkar. Nominations for national council members for both North ans South were also received.
