Nuvem politics heats up as AAP confronts local MLA outside own house

The electioneering to the assembly elections has well and truly begun. And this can be gauged by the open confrontation between members of the Aam Admi Party and the Nuvem MLA Wilfred Babashan D'Sa for the second day running.

 AAP leaders led by its state unit convenor Rahul Mhambrey, Vice president Pratima Coutinho went back to the site of their clash with supporters of the local MLA.

A large number of policemen were deployed which did not stop the two sides having a heated clash and some egg throwing from the MLA line and some minor scuffles after AAP supporters raised an effigy purportedly of the MLA. Yesterday AAP workers went to D’Sa house to present a cake to the MLA to mark the second anniversary of his switching over from Congress to BJP.
