17 Mar 2020 05:54 PM

MGP has said it will quit politics if BJP dissolves the legislative assembly and gets 27 MLAs elected. MGP president Deepak Dhavlikar has challenged Chief Minister Pramod Sawant to hold fresh election in 2020 instead of 2022 if BJP government is strong.

Deepak was reacting to Chief Minister's statement on former deputy chief minister Sudin Dhavlikar at a ZP campaign meeting in  Dharbandora.

The Chief Minister had stated that Sudin is trying to be part of the present BJP government, adding that  Sudin should never dream of becoming minister in BJP government in future. He had also stated that BJP will get absolute majority in 2022 elections. Watch the speech of Chief Minister and Deepak's reaction to it.

MGP has also raised doubts over the Chief Minister's visit to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the issue of Mhadei.
