FPPCA charges are hiked, bills to become expensive once again: GF

Power bills have been hiked. This time FPPCA charges are increased per unit of the power consumption. The party warned that once Goa starts getting power from 400KV transmission line from Mollem then charges will increase even further.

 As it is consumers are upset and scared as they are being faced with huge bills via mistakes or as bills are coming months together.

FPPCA known as Fuel and Power Purchase Cost Adjustment is the amount that utilities apply on bills based on the varying prices of fuel or Coal.

Goa Forwards Durgadas Kamat alleged that FPPCA will increase power bills further.

And that the Chief Minister is trying to break the backbone of the people who were already suffered during lockdown due to huge bills and no income.

He has threatened gherao the Chief Engineer if roll back is not done in coming week.
