It’s fun when a singer becomes a minister. Rather than boring speeches, the minister sings and the audience cheers. That’s what happened at the closing ceremony of IFFI.
Babul Supriyo is a professional singer and now the union minister of state for environment.
He entertained the audience by singing a song at the ceremony.
76-year old Indian film composer Iliyaraja was another attraction at the IFFI closing ceremony.
While Goa Governor Satyapal Malik requested minister Babul Supriyo to sing a song, Supriyo said he would sing Iliyaraja’s composition from film Sadma.
