In a memory of Parrikar various programs are held across the State to give him tributes. On Sunday Vice-president of India Venkaiah Naidu paid condolence visit Parrikar family. Manohar Parrikar who was fighting with cancer breath his last on last Sunday. Various programs were held across Goa to give him tributes. Various programs were held on Sunday at Mala in Panaji and Curchorem. Mahalaxmi Vachan Mandir in Mala, Panaji gave tribute to late Manohar Parrikar. Various dignitaries shared their thoughts.

Former Panaji MLA Siddhart Kuncolikar shared some of his old memories with Parrikar. A special tribute program was held at Sanvordem to remember Manohar Parrikar. The well wishers of Parrikar gave him floral tributes. Nilesh Cabral who was also present at the function urged to publish a book on Parrikar's life. He appealed people to send articles.
